Patients

We help patients understand the technologies and procedures that will help them get out of pain.

Bone Growth Stimulation

Bone Growth Stimulation is a non-invasive therapy that is used after spinal fusion surgery to help accelerate the natural process of our bone building cells.  In one recent study, patients that utilized the Spinalogic bone growth stimulator healed faster than patients that utilized other forms of bone growth stimulation.

Peripheral Nerve Stimulation
Peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) is a minimally invasive procedure that involves placing a small electrical device near a peripheral nerve to deliver mild electrical pulses.

These pulses disrupt pain signals before they reach the brain, providing relief from chronic pain. PNS is often preferred over more invasive surgical options because it is less risky, can be adjusted or removed if necessary, and offers a targeted approach to pain management without the need for medication.

Artificial Disc Replacement

Artificial disc replacement (ADR) is a surgical procedure that involves replacing a damaged or degenerated intervertebral disc with an artificial one, designed to mimic the function and motion of a natural disc.

Unlike spinal fusion, which permanently immobilizes the affected segment of the spine, ADR allows for the preservation of movement and flexibility in the spine. This can lead to quicker recovery, reduced stress on adjacent vertebrae, and lower risk of future spinal issues, making it a preferred option for some patients over spinal fusion.

SI Joint Stabilization
Did you know that about 15-30% of the time the SI Joint is the cause of low back pain?  The intense pain in your lower back could be caused by your SI Joint.

SI joint stabilization is a surgical procedure that stabilizes the sacroiliac (SI) joint by fusing the bones together using implants or bone grafts. This procedure is typically performed to alleviate chronic pain caused by SI joint dysfunction, which can result from arthritis, injury, or degeneration.

SI joint stabilization is preferred over non-surgical treatments when conservative methods fail, as it provides long-term pain relief and restores stability to the joint, improving the patient's overall quality of life.

Endoscopic Spine Surgery

Endoscopic spine surgery is a minimally invasive surgical technique that uses small incisions and a camera-equipped endoscope to access and treat spinal conditions. This approach allows surgeons to precisely target the problem area with minimal disruption to surrounding tissues.

Endoscopic spine surgery is often preferred over traditional open surgery because it results in less pain, reduced scarring, shorter recovery times, and lower risk of complications, making it an attractive option for patients requiring spine surgery.
